Hoya acuta 'Variegata' - exemplare XL
Hoya acuta 'Variegata' (Hoya verticillata 'Variegata) - a species widespread in Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia, presented as a strong plant with vigorous growth. The variegata form of the plant is considered rare and appreciated by collectors worldwide.
The flowers are white/cream with a yellow-orange center, appear in clusters of up to 50, have a slightly spicy fragrance of medium intensity, and last up to a week.
In recent years, the plant's identity has been widely debated, especially after botanists decided to classify as verticillata a number of varieties showing significant morphological differences in the leaves - something incomprehensible to most collectors.
Currently, it is sold both as Hoya acuta 'Variegata' and as Hoya verticillata 'Variegata'.
