Aeschynanthus marmoratus (2-3 plante/ghiveci)

Aeschynanthus Marmoratus (lipstick flower, lipstick plant) is a creeping houseplant, native to Thailand and Malaysia. In its native environment, it is an epiphyte plant.

• Origin: Southeast Asia (Thailand, Malaysia)

• Appearance: Climbing or hanging plant, with long and flexible stems.

• Leaves: Dark green with marbled patterns on the upper side and a reddish tone on the underside.

• Flowers: Tubular, red or orange, with a lipstick-like appearance (hence the name "red lip plant").

• Growth: Moderate, adapted for hanging pots or trellises.

Care conditions:

• Light: Prefers bright indirect light, but tolerates partial shade. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight.

• Water: Requires moderate watering; the soil should be moist, but not waterlogged.

• Humidity: High, being a tropical plant. Regular spraying with water is recommended.

• Temperature: 18-25°C, cannot tolerate cold below 10°C.

• Soil: Well-drained, peat-based, mixed with perlite or tree bark.

Propagation: It is done through stem cuttings, which root easily in water or moist substrate.
