Full description and specifications

Murraya paniculata , also known as Orange jasmine or false orange, is an exotic, evergreen shrub with dense, glossy foliage and intensely fragrant white flowers. It blooms intermittently throughout the year, and its flowers exude a sweet fragrance, similar to orange blossoms. It grows up to 2-3 m in its natural environment, but can be kept smaller by pruning. It is an ideal plant for gardens, terraces or indoors, where it adds a tropical and elegant air.

Care instructions:

Light: Prefers bright light, with exposure to direct sunlight or partial shade. Indoors, provide a bright spot, near a window.

Temperature: It grows optimally at temperatures of 18-30°C, but does not tolerate cold. In winter, it should be protected from temperatures below 10°C.

Watering: Requires regular watering, keeping the soil slightly moist, but without excess water. Avoid water stagnation at the roots.

Soil: Grows well in fertile, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. A mix of all-purpose soil with sand or perlite for drainage is recommended.

Humidity: Appreciates moderate humidity. Indoors, it can benefit from occasional misting or a humidifier.

Fertilization: Fertilize monthly in the warm season (spring-summer) with a balanced fertilizer for flowering plants.

Pruning: Can be pruned to maintain a compact shape and encourage branching. Regular pruning helps maintain a dense and healthy appearance.

Murraya paniculata is ideal as an indoor and patio plant in the warm season. This plant offers an exotic fragrance and a lush appearance, making it perfect for tropical plant lovers who want a relaxing atmosphere in their space.
