A Heat Pack protects plants in the cold season by generating a steady source of warmth inside the packaging during transport. It works through a chemical reaction between iron powder and oxygen in the air, which produces heat. Here is how it helps protect plants:

The heat pack prevents plants from being exposed to low temperatures that could harm their tissues or even cause freezing.
