CAMELLIA JAPONICA CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Plant development: Shrub, with a maximum height of 1.5 - 2 m Placement: Camellia needs plenty of light but cannot tolerate direct sunlight throughout the day. It is recommended to place it in cool, partially shaded but bright spaces, with constant humidity. Under the climatic conditions in Romania, the plant withstands outdoor conditions very well - provided it is planted in the garden, in a more protected spot. It does NOT tolerate large temperature differences well (moving indoor-outdoor, from warm to cold or vice versa)! Soil: prefers slightly acidic soil, but also grows well in neutral soil - in the garden, this aspect can be improved by applying sulfur supplements.

Withstands temperatures down to -18 degrees Celsius.
