Thornless blackberry, evergreen, with huge yields - Rubus fruticosus 'Thornless Evergreen' (Oregon Thornless)

Rubus fruticosus 'Thornless Evergreen' - is the most spectacular variety of blackberry available in specialty trade. The plants are extremely vigorous, with spectacular and rapid growth - in just one year a plant completely covers a 2x2 m fence, and in the following years it continues to expand if the size is not reduced by pruning.

Just one year after planting, record yields of over 10 kg per plant can be obtained.

The foliage is semi-evergreen - during winter it only partially loses its leaves. The remaining leaves turn spectacular shades of intense red.

Characteristics:
- extremely productive, self-fertile variety
- can be placed both in direct sun and in shaded or partially shaded areas.
- the fruits are black-violet, sweet and juicy. Fruits are harvested from August until the end of October.

- the plant is extraordinarily spectacular all year round - the flowering moment is impressive, the plant covers a fence completely in one year, and the amount of fruit is shockingly large.

For optimal results, it is recommended to place it in a sunny area and water during the warm season. In spring, when the vines exceed 1m, it is recommended to pinch the tip to encourage branching and increase production.

It withstands temperatures down to -29 °C. Very resistant plant to diseases and pests.
