Psychopsis Mariposa - inforire secventiala

Psychopsis Mariposa is an epiphytic orchid hybrid, resulting from the crossing of Psychopsis papilio and Psychopsis Kalihi. It was registered in 1972 by Ruben in Orch. It is one of the hybrids with easy and frequent flowering, for this reason it is also the most sought after in the Psychopsis family.
The flowers have an interesting shape, unique in the entire plant world. It is said to resemble a butterfly, hence the nickname "butterfly orchid".
Each flower can last up to 4 weeks and after the flower fades, it will develop and bloom again within a few weeks. This orchid has sequential flowering.

This orchid can rebloom continuously on the same stem for 5-15 years! Do not cut the flower stem unless it is completely dry.
