The Zygopetalum orchid, often also known as Zygo, is appreciated for its spectacular flowers in combinations of green, brown, white, and violet, often accompanied by an intense and pleasant fragrance similar to that of a strongly scented hyacinth.

The flowers are long-lasting and can remain for 1 to 3 months, depending on growing conditions. For the longest possible blooming period, it is recommended to place the plant in a bright spot, protected from direct sunlight.
