Horticultural vermiculite is a natural mineral expanded by heat, widely used in gardening due to its exceptional ability to hold water, nutrients, and air in the soil mix. It is ideal for blends intended for seedlings, tropical plants, orchids, succulents, or bonsai, helping develop a strong and healthy root system.

Thanks to its cation exchange properties, vermiculite helps maintain an optimal level of ammonium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, releasing them gradually to the roots. The material is sterile, free of impurities, ensures excellent soil aeration, and effectively retains moisture and fertilizers, preventing excessive drying or waterlogging.

Vermiculite does not mold, is non-toxic, non-flammable, and environmentally friendly, resistant to weather conditions. It can be used alone or combined with other gardening materials (peat, perlite, pine bark, coconut fiber) to improve the texture and drainage of the soil mix.

• In mixes for orchids, tropical plants, bonsai, succulents, or seeds

• As a top layer for sowing, maintaining constant moisture

• In combination with horticultural perlite, which ensures drainage and prevents excessive water buildup

• Also suitable for hydroponic or semi-hydroponic cultures
