Hoya wayetii is an epiphytic vine native to the Philippines, recognized by its narrow, fleshy, boat-shaped foliage. The edges darken or turn red in bright light. The species is frequently confused with Hoya kentiana, Hoya angustifolia, and Hoya longifolia; these are not synonyms. Differentiation is based on leaf shape, peduncles, and flower color.
