Paphiopedilum Pinocchio (glaucophyllum x primulinum) sequential/multiflower
€23,95
Full description and specifications
A primary hybrid of two botanical species, with Paph. glaucophyllum as seminal parent and Paph. primulinum (Critically Endangered species in the natural habitat, listed in the IUCN Red List) as pollinous parent, Paphiopedilum Pinocchio is a horticultural taxon that delights with successive blooms, during which each flower can remain on the floral stem for 4-5 weeks, compensating by the show provided by the lack of perfume.
It is perhaps among the most popular hybrids of the genus, being at the same time vigorous plants and perfectly recommended for beginner orchid enthusiasts, developing remarkably both under artificial lighting conditions and under natural light.
An important aspect is represented by the need to change the substrate frequently, at least once a year, since it does not tolerate the aging of the culture medium, and even less its drying and compaction.
Height with pots included: 35 cm
Pot diameter: 12 cm
Note: Because it is a hybrid, both the leaves and the flowers show color variations.
