Tillandsia harrisii is a spectacular epiphytic bromeliad, commonly known as an air plant (Air Plant), prized for its large rosette and long, arching leaves covered in a dense layer of silvery trichomes. These trichomes give it a velvety, gray-white appearance and help the plant absorb water and nutrients directly from its surroundings.

The XL variant stands out for its generous size and sculptural silhouette, making it suitable for open terrariums, decorative mounts, wood, bark, or simply displayed as a standalone plant. It does not need to be planted in a growing medium.
