Oncidium Tsiku Marguerite 'Chian-Tzy Dragon' (Twinkle) - intensely fragrant flowers

Oncidium Tsiku Marguerite ‘Chian-Tzy Dragon’ is a clone of the Oncidium Tsiku Marguerite hybrid (Orchidaceae family), registered in 2000 by Tsiku Taiwan Orch. (Oncidium Twinkle × Oncidium sotoanum).

Botanical characteristics:

• Flowers: Small, Twinkle-type, approximately 2-4 cm. The ‘Chian-Tzy Dragon’ clone has pink to dark pink shades. Very numerous, 50+ on a branched stem. Strong, sweet vanilla fragrance.
• Habit: Compact to medium-sized plant, with pseudobulbs and narrow leaves. Stems reach 30-50 cm at maturity. Intermediate growth.
• Special features: Twinkle-type hybrid, valued for its abundant flowering and fragrance. The flowers last for several weeks, usually in autumn-winter.

This variety may develop leaves with yellow/sunburned tips, which are characteristic of Oncidium Twinkle.
