Maxillaria bolivarensis
Maxillaria bolivarensis - rare botanical species, which can be found in Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil in very humid mountain forests at altitudes of 300 to 1200 meters.
It is a small, fairly compact species that grows both in hot and cold conditions, epiphytic, with short stems that form ovate, flattened pseudobulbs, partially covered at the base by 2 well-developed sheaths. It blooms more frequently in spring and summer on a basal stem of approx. 12.5 cm long with a single flower, covered by several nested, acuminate bracts.
