Hoya latifolia 'Albomarginata' is also known as Hoya macrophylla 'Albomarginata'. The title does not change. The foliage has marginal variegation: the center of the leaf remains green, while the edge is cream or white. The leaves are broad, ovate or elliptic, with distinct palmate veins. The photographs show pale pink umbels, typical of H. latifolia, not the lime-green flowers with burgundy coronas of H. macrophylla Blume. The growth habit is vine-like. Flowering depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Foliage and growth. The foliage is thick and glossy, with a green leaf blade and a cream-white band along the margin. The width of the border varies from one leaf to another. On new shoots, the petioles and stems may be pink. The palmate veins segment the leaf blade; this is not the inner pattern found in forms sold as 'Pot of Gold' or inner variegation. The growth habit is climbing or trailing. There are 2-3 plants in the pot, at different stages of development.

Flowers and fragrance. The flowers are small and star-shaped, grouped in umbels. In the gallery, the corolla is pale pink, with a lighter corona. The species also includes yellow-green forms. They are fragrant; the intensity may vary. Flowering depends on the plant's maturity and growing conditions.

Substrate: use an airy, well-draining mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
