The leaves are a dark velvety green, with contrasting and prominent silver veins, reaching a diameter of 20-30 cm when mature. The plant remains relatively small, with a dense and attractive form, making it ideal for indoors. It blooms rarely, producing red or pale pink spathes, but its ornamental value mainly comes from the foliage. It prefers moderate indirect light, high humidity, airy and well-drained soil, and temperatures between 18-28°C, avoiding cold drafts and excessive dryness.
