Pelargonium grandiflorum 'Mona Lisa White' (muscate englezesti)
Grandiflorum Geraniums - also commonly known as English Geraniums. The original name refers to the size of the flowers, being a variety with large, brightly colored blooms, often even bicolored.
Grandiflora geraniums bloom abundantly from spring until late autumn, until the first frost. The flowering period can be extended by bringing the plants indoors when temperatures start to drop.
Light and placement: English geraniums love light! Make sure the plant receives plenty of light, but avoid direct and prolonged exposure to midday sun, which can burn the leaves. A spot with morning sun or filtered light throughout the day is ideal.
Watering: Pelargonium grandiflorum prefers regular watering, but it’s important to let the soil dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid letting water stagnate at the base of the plant to prevent root rot. On hot summer days, you may need to water more often, but reduce watering frequency in winter.
Temperature and humidity: This geranium enjoys moderate to warm daytime temperatures and slightly cooler nights. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 10°C (50°F), as cold can be harmful. It does not require specific humidity and is quite adaptable in this regard.
Fertilizer: To encourage abundant flowering, fertilize the plant once a month during the active growing season (spring-summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer designed for flowering plants.
Height including pot: 25-30 cm
Pot diameter: 12 cm
Note: The displayed price is for a plant without flowers because this variety may arrive to you without blooms but is capable of flowering throughout the warm season.
