Hoya thomsonii (parfum de iasomie)

Hoya Thomsonii has oval, velvety, pubescent leaves, gray-green, with randomly scattered silvery spots. They reach a length of 4.5 cm and a width of about 2 cm, but are quite variable in size. The distance between the leaf nodes is usually about 5 cm. The stem is 0.2 cm in diameter.
The flowers, compared to the leaves, seem quite large. They are white in color, with a red-yellow center and starry petals, 20-30 in the inflorescence, last up to 10 days, have a strong jasmine aroma .
The flowers are 2 cm in diameter. Flowering lasts about three weeks. Flowering occurs with greater frequency in autumn or winter (October-December).

Low temperatures, especially the difference in temperature between day and night, contribute to the flowering of this variety of Hoya.
