Hoya 'Ruthie' (MM x sussuela) - a hybrid obtained by manual pollination between Hoya 'MM' and Hoya sussuela (syn. H. ariadna) by Ed Gilding. The flowers are fragrant, last up to 10 days, measure about 5 cm, and their color varies depending on growing conditions, in combinations of yellow and red.
The plant grows quickly and is not demanding, but develops best in warm temperatures and very good light, with flowering also depending on these factors. It tends to grow a lot before the first flowering, but growth is rapid, with the vines easily reaching several meters in length, often branched.
In Romania, flowering of varieties from the Eriostemma section has been reported less than 1 year after purchasing young plants.
