Cyclamen persicum 'Windbell' is an ornamental decorative plant, valued for its delicate flowers and heart-shaped leaves. It is a variety of the species Cyclamen persicum, known for its attractive flowers that resemble butterfly wings or gently hanging little bells.

Care tips:

Light:

• Prefers strong indirect light.
• Avoid direct sunlight, especially during warm days, to prevent leaf burns.

Temperature:

• Thrives best in cool conditions, between 10°C and 15°C.
• Does not tolerate high temperatures or frost.
• Placing it in well-ventilated and cool spaces extends its blooming period.

Watering:

• Keep the soil lightly moist, but avoid overwatering which can cause root rot.
• Water the plant at the base, avoiding direct wetting of the tuber and leaves.
• In winter, reduce watering but do not let the soil dry out completely.

Soil:

• Preferably well-drained soil, rich in nutrients.
• Use a mix for indoor plants combined with sand or perlite to improve drainage.

Humidity:

• Prefers a moderately humid environment.
• If the air is too dry, you can place a bowl of water nearby, but avoid direct wetting of the plant.

Fertilizing:

• Apply a mild liquid fertilizer for flowering plants every 2-3 weeks during the growing and blooming period (autumn and winter).
• Do not fertilize during the resting period.

Resting period:

• After flowering, the plant enters dormancy (usually in spring).
• Reduce watering, allowing the tuber to dry and conserve energy.
• During summer, keep the tuber in a cool and dry place.

Repotting:

• Repot in autumn, before the active season begins.
• Make sure the tuber is planted partially at the soil surface.
