Cyclamen is a perennial plant that appears as a bush, with decorative, twisted leaves attached by dark or light red stalks to the spherical tuber from which it grows.
Cyclamen has about 20 perennial, tuberous varieties, originating from different types of habitats: from forest vegetation in alpine areas to eastern Mediterranean regions, Iran, and southern Somalia.
