Ceropegia woodii is a perennial succulent with a trailing habit, native to South Africa, highly valued for its small, heart-shaped leaves arranged on long, slender stems. The foliage has a marbled silvery-green color with a purple underside, creating a delicate and romantic effect. Due to its shape and growth, the plant is also known as "String of Hearts", "heart plant", or "String of Hearts".
It is ideal for hanging pots, tall shelves, or combinations of trailing plants. Growth is rapid under good conditions, and over time it can reach impressive lengths. The plant also produces tubular flowers in shades of pink-purple, with an unusual shape resembling a lamp.
