Climbing hydrangea with variegated leaves and delicate flowers - Hydrangea petiolaris 'Silver Lining'

Hydrangea petiolaris 'Silver Lining' is an exceptionally elegant variety of climbing hydrangea, prized for its spectacular variegated foliage and abundant flowering.

This vigorous plant grows quickly and clings to supports by itself using aerial roots, reaching heights of 10–15 m. It is ideal for walls, pergolas, fences, or tree trunks.

The leaves are large, ovate, glossy dark green with creamy-white or shiny silver edges. This elegant contrast creates a very decorative effect throughout the year, even when the plant is not in bloom.

The flowers appear in June–July as flat (lacecap) inflorescences, white and very abundant. They cover the plant in a spectacular white cloud and strongly attract bees and butterflies.
