Colocasia esculenta 'Schwarze Magie'
Colocasia esculenta 'Black Magic'.
Differences between Colocasia and Alocasia. The leaves of Alocasia are oriented upwards, while the leaves of Colocasia are oriented downwards towards the ground. Unlike Alocasia, Colocasia has a much greater need for water (supports even soil with high water retention), being classified by many breeders as a "water plant" and can grow in direct sunlight.
Colocasia esculenta 'Black Magic' can grow up to 120-150cm tall.
Height with pots included: 30 cm
Pot diameter: 18 cm
Colocasia is a plant sensitive to transport (especially temperature changes). Therefore, it is possible to receive these plants with some defects on the leaves, but these do not affect the viability of the plant. Under conditions of optimal care, the new leaves will develop normally.
