Callisia rosato 'Pink Lady' babyplant
Callisia rosata, also known by the trade names Callisia repens ‘Pink Lady’ or ‘Bianca’, is a small-sized ornamental plant from the Commelinaceae family, valued for its softly colored foliage in shades of pale green, cream-white, and delicate pink. It is ideal for growing in hanging pots, window boxes, or as a decorative ground cover.
🔹 Recommended growing conditions:
• Light: Prefers bright indirect light. In good light, the variegation and pink shades are more pronounced. Without enough light, the plant turns green and loses its decorative coloring.
• Watering: Moderate. Water when the soil is dry on the surface, avoiding overwatering. The roots are sensitive to constant moisture.
• Soil: Loose, well-drained, preferably a light mix for indoor plants or succulents.
• Temperature: Thrives at steady temperatures without large fluctuations. Does not tolerate cold and must not be exposed to frost.
• Humidity: Easily adapts to normal household humidity but appreciates a slightly moist environment, especially in summer.
• Fertilizing: Every 3–4 weeks during the growing season, with diluted fertilizer for ornamental foliage plants.
