Brassavola nodosa var. grandiflora (Niederlande) intensiv duftende Blüten
Orchid Brassavola nodosa var. grandiflora (syn. Brassavola grandiflora) - botanical species with medium-sized, fragrant flowers. Each stem produces around 6 flowers with a size of 4-7 cm, long lifespan, strongly fragrant especially at night (citrus).
As a mature plant it is considered very productive, being capable of generating up to 7-8 flower stalks simultaneously.
Brassavola are also known as "Lady of the night", due to their very strong fragrance that is felt especially during the night, this mechanism having the role of attracting nocturnal pollinators.
