Begonia masoniana 'River' , also known as Begonia Iron Cross 'River' , is a spectacular variety of begonia, prized for its unique, textured leaves with a distinctive cross-shaped pattern.

• Leaves: Oval, asymmetrical, with a rough texture and a dark cross-shaped pattern on a light green background. The surface of the leaves is slightly velvety and covered with fine hairs.
• Flowers: Small, pinkish-white, appear rarely and are not as spectacular as the leaves.
Care conditions:
• Light: Prefers bright indirect light, but tolerates partial shade. Direct sun can burn the leaves.
• Water: Water moderately, keeping the soil slightly moist but not overwatered. Avoid watering directly on the leaves.
• Humidity: Requires high humidity; it is recommended to place it near a humidifier or on a tray with gravel and water.
• Temperature: 18-25°C; does not tolerate temperatures below 12°C.
• Soil: Well drained, rich in organic matter, based on peat and perlite.
Propagation: It can be propagated by leaf or stem cuttings, as well as by dividing the rhizomes.
