Rhynchovola Jimminey Cricket (Brassavola nodosa × Rhyncholaelia digbyana) - primary hybrid obtained by crossing two botanical species with amazing characteristics. The plant is compact, resistant, with large, fragrant flowers.
Technically, both parents that led to the emergence of this cross are Brassavola, even if botanists have not decided, successively moving digbyana from Laelia to Cattleya, then to Brassavola and finally to Rhyncholaelia.
Brassavola are known as the "Lady of the night", due to their very strong fragrance that is felt especially during the night, this mechanism having the role of attracting nocturnal pollinators, and this hybrid is no exception.
