Weigela florida 'Alexandra' (Weigela 'Víno a ruže')

Weigela florida 'Alexandra', also known as Weigela 'Wine and Roses', is an ornamental shrub valued for its dark purple leaves and bell-shaped pink flowers. This variety is medium-sized, reaching heights of 1-1.5 meters and a similar width.

The colorful leaves provide a beautiful contrast with its bright pink flowers that bloom in spring and often again in late summer. The shrub has a rounded growth habit, with arching branches that add a decorative touch to landscapes.

Weigela 'Alexandra' adapts to various soil types but prefers well-drained soils and sunny or partly shaded locations. This variety is also resistant to diseases and pests, making it an excellent choice for beginner gardeners or those seeking low-maintenance plants.
