Peperomia sarcophylla
Peperomia sarcophylla , also known as dwarf pepper , is a tropical perennial plant in the Piperaceae family, native to Central and South America. It is valued for its fleshy, glossy, dark green leaves with prominent silver-gray veins, which give it a distinctive decorative appearance.

• Habit: Compact plant, approximately 20–25 cm tall.
• Leaves: Fleshy, glossy, dark green, with prominent silver-gray veins.
• Stem: Short and thick, supporting the leaves in a fan shape.

• Light: Prefers bright indirect light; avoid direct sunlight.
• Soil: Well-drained, aerated, rich in organic matter - ideally a mixture of peat, perlite and universal soil.
• Watering: Moderate – water when the top layer of soil is dry. Does not tolerate excess water.
• Temperature: It feels good in warm and stable environments.
• Humidity: Prefers an environment with moderate to high humidity.
• Fertilization: During the active period (spring-summer), fertilization is recommended every 2-4 weeks with fertilizer for decorative plants through the leaves.
• Propagation: By leaf or stem cuttings, in warm and humid conditions.
• Toxicity: Considered non-toxic to humans and pets.
• Maintenance: Low. It is recommended to wipe the leaves of dust and avoid excess water.
