Amorphophallus Atroviridis (Voodoo ľalia)
€29,95
Amorphophallus Atroviridis - a botanical species from the Araceae family, native to Thailand. The plant stands out through its impressive foliage - velvety leaves, dark green in color, with pinkish-red edges that offer a strong contrast. The new leaves have shades of purple or burgundy, but they change dramatically as the plant matures.
Amorphophallus Atroviridis was discovered in Thailand, near the town of Sara Buri. In its natural environment, the plant grows in cracks between rocks, and its tubers usually develop deeply to provide stability to the plant - for this reason, it is recommended to grow it in tall pots.
It is a tuberous plant, and during winter it usually loses its leaves, especially if the temperature drops and light is reduced. It prefers strong filtered light, temperatures between 5-35 degrees, and a substrate with good drainage and medium moisture retention.
At maturity, it reaches a height of approximately 60 cm.
The name Atroviridis comes from the Latin words atro and viridis, roughly meaning "dark green".
Other known names: Voodoo Lily
Height including pot: approx. 40 cm
