Syngonium Arrow (arrow plant)
Syngonium ‘Arrow’ (also known as Syngonium podophyllum ‘Arrowhead’) is a tropical ornamental plant valued for its distinctive leaf shape and ease of care.
Main features:
• Leaves: arrow-shaped (hence the name), light green or silvery green in color, with visible veins. As the plant matures, the leaves may become more lobed.
• Growth: the plant has a compact form in early stages but can become trailing or climbing if supported.
• Size: in a pot, it can reach 30-90 cm in height, depending on space and growing conditions.
• Light: prefers bright indirect light; it tolerates lower light but will lose some color intensity.
• Watering: the soil should be kept lightly moist; water regularly but avoid overwatering.
• Temperature: prefers moderate temperatures; does not tolerate below 10°C.
• Humidity: prefers moderate to high humidity but adapts to drier air as well.
• Soil: well-drained mix, based on peat or universal indoor plant soil.
Additional care:
• It is recommended to wipe the leaves of dust periodically.
• Pinching the tips helps maintain a compact and bushy form.
