Anthurium ‘Chelsey Chocolate’ - flori spectaculoase
Anthurium, also known as "Flamingo Flower" or "Painter's Palette," is a popular indoor plant native to Central and South America. They are known for their glossy leaves and colorful spathes surrounding a cylindrical inflorescence called a spadix. To keep an Anthurium plant healthy and blooming, follow these care instructions:
Light: Anthurium prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves. If you don't have enough natural light, you can also use artificial light.
Watering: Make sure the soil is well-drained and the plant is watered regularly. Let the soil dry out on the surface between waterings. During winter, reduce watering.
Humidity: Anthurium is a tropical plant, so it prefers a high humidity level. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves with water, placing the plant on a tray with wet stones, or using a humidifier.
Temperature: Anthurium prefers temperatures between 20-30 degrees Celsius and does not tolerate temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. Avoid placing the plant in drafts or near heat sources or air conditioning.
General care: Remove dry leaves and flowers to keep the plant clean and healthy. The plant can be fertilized once a month during the growing season with a balanced water-soluble fertilizer.
Repotting: Anthurium should be repotted every two years or when roots start growing through the drainage holes. Use a well-draining soil mix suitable for epiphytic plants.
