A large number of plants make up the Cactaceae family, including many small plants that do well indoors. These succulents, usually without leaves, store water for long periods of time, which makes them very easy to care for plants. They often have spectacular flowers, especially when well fertilized, and almost all varieties thrive in sunny windowsills.
