Rebutia heliosa var. condorensis – cactus miniatural cu inflorire spectaculoasa
Rebutia heliosa var. condorensis is a rare and highly decorative variety of cactus native to the mountainous regions of Bolivia. It is distinguished by its globular, slightly flattened shape, densely covered with small areoles and fine, white spines , which give it an almost silky appearance. The spines are short and non-aggressive, which makes the plant easy to handle. At maturity, it forms dense colonies by producing lateral shoots.
One of the most spectacular aspects is the flowering: large flowers, in shades of pink, salmon, orange or red , which contrast beautifully with the silver-green body of the plant. Flowering usually occurs in spring, between April and June , and is considered abundant compared to the small size of the plant. The color of the flowers can vary from one specimen to another, depending on growing conditions and individual genetics.
