Hoya krohniana 'Eskimo' is a cultivar with small foliage, often covered in silver splash. Eskimo is the label under which this selection is circulated. It is also sold under the names Silver or Super Silver for plants with a similar appearance. Each pot contains 4–5 plants, making it suitable for hanging. Under good growing conditions, it produces umbels of creamy white, pubescent, fragrant flowers. Its compact growth habit and simple care make it apartment-friendly.

Foliage and splash. The leaves are small and glossy, often heart-shaped on young shoots. As the plant matures, the shape may vary. The splash may cover the leaf completely or partially; the same pot may also contain vines with subtle splash or almost no pattern. In bright, filtered light, the green tissue may develop burgundy, almost dark tones. The vines are fragile and may be damaged during transport.

Flowers and fragrance. The flowers are small, creamy white, pubescent, and grouped in umbels. They are fragrant and usually last for several days. The resemblance to Hoya lacunosa flowers is horticultural; the two species remain distinct. Flowering depends on the plant’s maturity and growing conditions.

Botanical and commercial identity. The accepted name is Hoya krohniana Kloppenb. & Siar, published in 2009 and native to the Philippines. Before publication, the material circulated as Hoya lacunosa 'Heart Leaf'; this is a historical label. 'Eskimo' refers to the selection with strongly silver foliage.

Each pot contains 4–5 plants. The density of the splash and the length of the vines may vary between plants in the same pot.

Substrate: use an airy, well-draining mix suitable for epiphytic species. We recommend the professional substrate for Hoya and Anthurium - SG Mix.
