Adenium obesum, popularly called the desert rose, is a striking succulent plant native to the arid regions of Africa and Arabia. It is valued for its thick, bulb-shaped stem (caudex), glossy leaves, and large, brightly colored flowers that bring a touch of the exotic to any collection.
