RLC. King of Taiwan 'Ta-hsin 1' AM/AOS - A large-sized taxon, with flower diameters of 13 – 23 cm, in shades from violet – lilac to ruby, featuring the inside of the labellum colored in bright yellow and red, with distinct veining. King of Taiwan will bloom abundantly from spring to autumn, with 2-5 flowers present on each new growth, if grown in well-lit areas with light radiation values above 20000 lux, at medium to high temperatures. The recommended growing medium consists of coarse mixtures of pine bark, amended with pumice and expanded clay pellets, possibly mixed with coarsely cut coconut fiber.
