Mammillaria polythele ‘Toluca’ is a spectacular columnar cactus variety native to Mexico, highly valued by collectors for its elegant form and rarity in cultivation. The stems are erect and dark green, covered with small, spirally arranged tubercles bearing short, fine, white or yellowish spines. In spring–summer, the plant produces pink or purple flowers arranged in circular crowns around the stem, a classic display for the Mammillaria genus.
