Cleistocactus colademonis, also known by the common name “Monkey Tail Cactus”, is a striking and unusual species of epiphytic cactus native to Bolivia, valued for its long, curved stems covered with long, soft, white hairs that resemble the fur of an animal’s tail.
It is an ideal cactus for hanging pots, where the stems can cascade down, creating a remarkable visual effect. Under optimal conditions, it also produces bright red tubular flowers, highly decorative, which appear directly from the stems.
