Chiloschista pusilla var. orange

Chiloschista pusilla var. orange orchid - a rare, miniature botanical species notable for its lack of leaves and the abundant roots through which it also performs photosynthesis. Leaves appear seasonally, are insignificant, and usually fall off before the flowers bloom.
Chiloschista prefers higher humidity, being an epiphytic species commonly found on trees and shrubs growing in swamps.
Chiloschista pusilla can produce one or more flower spikes, with tiny fragrant flowers in an impressively large number relative to the plant's size.
