Full description and specifications

Brassavola cucullata - botanical species considered representative of the genus Brassavola. The plant has fascinated generations of collectors due to its interesting features. The flowers are very large/long (17-18cm), appear 1-2 per stem.
The plant is epiphytic or lithophytic in its natural environment, and the growing recommendation is for mounting on bark, although it can also be grown without difficulty in pots with sphagnum or bark, as long as the watering regime is respected and very good ventilation is ensured.
The species of Brassavola are nicknamed "Lady of the night", due to their very strong perfume that is felt especially during the night, this mechanism having the role of attracting nocturnal pollinators.
Fragrant flowers , with great variability and size of approx. 17-18 cm!
