Full description and specifications
Alocasia princeps 'Purple Cloak' is a variety of Alocasia that belongs to the Araceae family. It is known for its large, arrow-shaped leaves, which have a shade of dark green on the upper side and a purple tinge on the lower side. The texture of the leaves is often velvety, which adds an extra element of visual interest.
This tropical plant is native to Southeast Asia and prefers high humidity conditions. The ideal soil is well drained. Like other Allocasias, 'Purple Cloak' grows best in strong indirect light, but can tolerate a wider range of light conditions, from partial shade to full sun.
Watering should be done in moderation; the soil must dry a little between waterings to prevent the roots from rotting. Fertilization is done regularly during the growing season, using a balanced fertilizer.
Note: Alocasia is a sensitive plant. Therefore, it is possible to receive these plants with some defects on the leaves, but these do not affect the viability of the plant.
The decorative bowl is not included in the price.
Height with pots included approx. 30 cm
