Calathea Crocata

Calathea Crocata is an ornamental plant valued both for its flowers and its leaves, being one of the few Calathea varieties that also produces visually striking flowers. The flowers grow on tall stems and are orange in color, highly appreciated by enthusiasts.

• Location: Calathea Crocata prefers a bright spot, but without direct sunlight. A window facing east or west is ideal.
• Temperature: The plant prefers a temperature between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. In winter, the temperature should not fall below 15 degrees Celsius.
• Humidity: The plant requires high humidity, at least 70%.
• Watering: The plant should be watered regularly so that the soil is always moist but not soaked with water.
• Fertilizing: The plant should be fertilized every two weeks during the growing period with a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants.
• Repotting: The plant should be repotted every 2-3 years, when the roots fill the entire pot.
