Phalaenopsis mariae scented

Phalaenopsis mariae orchid - a small-sized epiphytic species, adapted to warm to very warm temperatures, native to the Philippines and Borneo, at altitudes around 600 meters. It grows on tree trunks and branches in dense shade, having short stems covered by overlapping leaf bases.

It blooms more frequently in summer, on a lateral, hanging flower stalk, measuring 35 to 60 cm, with many flowers. The flowers usually open simultaneously and are strongly fragrant.
