Phalaenopsis Lovely Marie (Phal. mariae x Phal. bastianii)

Phalaenopsis Lovely Marie (Phal. mariae × Phal. bastianii) is a primary Filipino hybrid from the genus Phalaenopsis (family Orchidaceae).

Brief botanical characteristics:

• Flowers: Approx. 5 cm diameter, white or cream with purple-pink spots/markings, star-shaped or rounded. Pleasant scent (influenced by Phal. mariae). Good durability.
• Habitus: Compact monopodial plant with fleshy green leaves. Arched or slightly pendulous inflorescences.
• Particularities: Combines the beauty and fragrance of the Phal. mariae species with the better shape and robustness of Phal. bastianii. A relatively easy and prolific hybrid to grow.

A classic hybrid, appreciated for its delicate flowers and fragrance.
