Summer lilac - Buddleja davidii 'White Profusion'
Buddleja davidii 'White Profusion' - commonly known as 'Summer Lilac'. A fast-growing shrub that withstands almost any environmental conditions but blooms more abundantly when exposed to good sunlight.
Blooms very abundantly in the warm season, with flowers appearing in large clusters, strongly fragrant, and high nectar producers. During the warm season, it is usually the biggest attraction for butterflies and pollinators.
To delay blooming, some gardeners drastically reduce the size of the plants in spring. Annual pruning is also necessary to control the plant’s spread, as it tends to multiply relatively quickly.
