Astrophytum capricorne, also known as the "Capricorn cactus", is a species native to Mexico, highly valued for its distinctive appearance. The body is globular or slightly cylindrical, dark green, marked by wide ribs, sprinkled with fine white dots. What makes it unique are the long, thin, twisted spines, which resemble the horns of an animal. In summer, the plant produces large yellow flowers with a red-orange center, of great decorative value.
