Full description and specifications

Amorphophallus Atroviridis - botanical species from the Araceae family, endemic to Thailand. The plant stands out for its impressive foliage - velvety, dark green leaves with pinkish-reddish edges that offer a strong contrast. The new leaves have shades of purple or grain, but change their appearance dramatically as the plant matures.
Amorphophallus Atroviridis was discovered in Thailand, near the city of Sara Buri. In the natural environment, the plant grows in the cracks between the rocks, and the rhizomes tend to develop significantly in depth to ensure the stability of the plant - for this reason, the culture in tall pots is recommended.
It is a tuberous plant, and over the winter it tends to lose its leaves, especially if the temperature drops and the light is reduced. Prefers strong filtered light, temperature between 5-35 degrees and well-drained substrate with medium moisture retention.
At maturity it reaches a height of approx. 60 cm.
The name Atroviridis comes from the Latin words atro and viridis, roughly translated "dark green".
Other known names: Voodoo Lily
Height with pots included: approx. 40 cm
