Alocasia 'Sarian' is a striking hybrid obtained by crossing the species Alocasia zebrina and Alocasia micholitziana. The leaves are spectacular – pointed, with prominent veins, wavy edges, and a glossy-textured (leather-like) appearance.
Care instructions:
Placement: a bright area, sheltered from direct sunlight. It can also tolerate a less bright spot quite well.
Watering: water when the soil is dry. It is recommended to give small amounts of water.
Soil: well-drained. It can be a mix of peat and perlite.
Temperature: 15 - 28 degrees Celsius
Fertilizing: during the growing season, apply a balanced fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Humidity: ideal >60%
Pruning: remove damaged or yellowing leaves.
Pot diameter 17 cm
Height including pot approx. +60 cm
Alocasia is a very sensitive plant to transport (especially temperature changes). Therefore, you may receive these plants with leaf defects, but these do not affect the plant’s viability. Under optimal care conditions, new leaves will develop normally.
